## Product: SPFR100 (transparent fire-retardant wood impregnation)

- Product type: transparent, water-based, formaldehyde-free fire-retardant IMPREGNATION for absorbent wood; NOT an intumescent paint.
- Intended substrates: absorbent softwood and wood-based materials - spruce, pine, aspen, alder, western red cedar - and engineered timber such as CLT and glulam (typically spruce-based). Previously painted, lacquered, oiled or otherwise sealed surfaces require a compatibility assessment, because a sealed surface can block absorption.
- Published reaction-to-fire classification: B-s1,d0 under EN 13501-1, established within the exact configuration and field of application stated in classification report K16/2024 and certificate ET-0388-24.
- Published certified configuration: spruce timber at least 18 mm thick, treated on all sides, at least 240 g/m2, without an additional coating.
- Indoor emissions: M1 class (certificate 5096, RTS Finland).
- Environmental: VOC-free, solvent-free, formaldehyde-free, halogen-free, pH-neutral, non-corrosive, non-toxic.

## Important scope rule

SPFR100 is DESIGNED FOR a wider range of wood species and applications than the single published classification configuration. The published B-s1,d0 classification is established for spruce; for other species, panel types, thicknesses, coatings or end-use conditions, project-specific testing and verification are available. Do not assume the B-s1,d0 classification automatically applies outside the certified spruce configuration - contact Solid Protect for project verification.
