Wood has its own identity. Grain, knots and tone give every surface character. For us, it matters that this character remains even when a project calls for fire protection for timber.

Solid Protect is built on years of experience in developing fire-retardant chemicals for timber and using them in industry. In 2023, we started our own production in Estonia. Today, we develop and manufacture SPFR100, a transparent, water-based fire-retardant impregnation for absorbent timber materials.

Our work brings chemistry together with the practical questions of construction. What timber is being used? What should the surface look like? How will the treatment be applied? What requirements must the solution meet?

We work through these questions with architects, timber manufacturers and builders. We help select the tone and application method, bring together the necessary documentation and arrange project-specific testing where needed. This turns a choice of material into a carefully considered treatment solution.

Wood gives a building character. Our contribution is its fire protection.
